What the product is
Mycorrhizal fungi, humic acids and biochar. Mycorrhizal fungi form a symbiosis with most plant species and extend the root system into soil the plant cannot reach on its own — a second root system the plant rents. The humic acids and biochar give them somewhere to live. That symbiosis is established science; how much it is worth on your particular soil is what a trial on your site is for.
We believe a farm with living soil is more resilient, independent, and productive in the long run — not through less effort, but through regeneration. Symactiv was founded to make this measurable, with field trials, independent partners, and verifiable data.

Every trial has an untreated control on the same site, in the same season, with typically 3 to 6 plots per treatment. Trials that size cannot be statistically significant on their own, so we report the pooled estimate across the programme and publish each trial’s own numbers next to it — including the results that were smaller than we hoped, and the ones where the control varied so much that the trial tells us nothing.
